Import your materials

Before starting the construction of import files, several things should be noted:

- All Symalean records require an association at one or more sites. It is therefore essential to have set the site tree in Symalean. If you have not already done so, I advise you to follow this link which will tell you how to follow:Knowledge base

-Create a site

- All .csv files contain a number of columns (line 1). We must notnor modify, embed or delete columns otherwise the file will be inoperable.

- Some fields are mandatory and others are not. therequired fields will appear in redin the following tables.

- Before the import is completed, it is necessary toencode the file in 'UTF-8'.

Specificity on the update key:

for material import, the update key takes into account 3 parameters:

Internal equipment number + Equipment Designation + Equipment Assignment Site.Thus, 2 equipment with the same internal number and the same designation can be found if it is located at different sites.The following columns should be completedOnlySiyou wish to associate one or more preventive maintenance with materials.

Specific on the integration of preventive maintenance interventions:

if more than one preventive maintenance is to be included for the same material, insert as many lines into the file as interventions and fill in only the following fields.
